Will I lose my physical results if I don’t train for a week?

A change in your routine can be a healthy change for the body, mind, and soul.

“I’m going on vacation with my family and will find it difficult to get to a gym, will I lose my physical results if I don’t train for a week?”

Generally, no, it won’t make any significant difference. In fact, I believe it’s beneficial.

If you’re someone that is consistent with daily movement, whether it be Strength, Cardio, HIIT, Yoga, Pilates, Martial Arts, Sport, whatever it is that you do – changing your routine can be a heathy change for the body and mind.

Switching from your regular and disciplined routine, and approaching your daily
movement realistically during time spent with family and friends, provides opportunity to replenish the body, mind, and soul, whilst embracing the importance of feeling present with your loved ones, and exploring a new environment together through health and fitness.

Plan a hike, swim in cold rivers, explore a new scenery with long walks or adventurous runs, forage for fruits, take bike rides, give horse
riding a go, canoe, surf, ski, or dance with your family in the kitchen. Embrace what brings you joy!!!

Cherish being present with the things that really matter and focus on replenishing your soul, recharge, and come back to your routine motivated and ready to go!

And don’t forget to enjoy good food! Sure, be mindful, but remember everyday provides opportunity to find balance towards a realistic, sustainably, and long-term healthier way of life.
